The covered cards you see already are actual, separate cards that get moved around when you shuffle.
This way, card extraction is not a cold, computer-generated random number, but is also determined by which card is calling you more and which you decide to click.

A wonderful mirror of the old Caverns of Blood, very nostalgic and entertaining! While this isn't a Neocities site, it's a fun game nonetheless, and I highly recommend it.
