My name is Emma and I'm the mess behind this website! "YOU WILL BE SAFE" is an ongoing, constantly changing project that originally came to be in order to make my shrines, because I wanted something more than Pinterest boards and fanfics. I'm deeply entrenched in fandom culture and I hope my projects reflect that.

I enjoy horror of all types, whether it's books or video games, though I am impartial to movies. My favorite video games can be found in my shrines, and eventually I should have my top list of books as well. I also enjoy horror series that can be found on Youtube, like Monument Mythos, Gemini Home Entertainment, Vita Carnis, and everymanHYBRID.

Along with consuming horrors of the mind, I have recently started attempting to learn a new language. For some reason, in my mind, the best language to start with was Latin. Ancient Latin. So now, I'm stuck with this dead language until I feel fluent enough to chat with a dead Roman. When people say that Latin is only good for cursing people, they're right. I learned how to read about beating a kid before I learned how to say "Thank you." So far, I'm the most proficient at insults. They're the easiest to translate for some reason. (Tu non solum foedum, sed etiam malum) I also enjoy thrifting, collecting things, and making various forms of art.
